Stoked with my latest album - that has just gone live - and you can check out here.
Me and my brother were rewarded for waking up early and heading over to the coast on a crisp November morning, with some great waves.
We were both behind lenses; nothing unsual for me, but my bro was forced to shore whilst he nurses knee injury. So water shots are by moi; land shots are by him.
Getting there just after sunrise on a school day, the line up was quiet, despite some good quality waves.
I was shooting with my telephoto water setup for the second time. It wasn’t without issue. The zoom control ring actually slipped meaning I was stuck at full zoom (200mm on a crop sensor, to those in the know). Whilst I definitely missed some shots, it also resulted in some interesting angles, and helped me learn a lot about shooting at longer focal ranges, in the water. I do love some tele, so it wasn’t all bad.
Here’s a few of my faves.
